My work usually starts within a conceptual framework integrating personal fascinations. I am also concerned with craft, presence and form. As a visual artist, I've developed several types of works including contemporary embroidery, ceramic and cutout.
Choices of media and materials are largely guided by both conceptual and formal considerations. Themes based around performance (Le Chemin, La Chute), emotional states like disillusional love (Sweethurts), and cultural motifs (Belgian Flag) are pervasive throughout my propositions.
I've also developed a ephemeral and itinerant curatorial project called Galerie Justin Morin which features works of young artists.
