Two weeks to go before Scales of the universe, the definition of the frontier. Météorite VIII is a framed collage made of mirror paper. I still have to find the best way to get a good photography of it, which seems quite impossible. Code Magazine is a european magazine dedicated to emerging artists. The team are based in Brussels. The new issue (number 9) is all about intimacy. You can read an article about my work written by Virginie Devillez. If you can't find a physical copy, then go to their website, here, to get a pdf version. I'm working on my next exhibition as a curator. It's gonna be called "Scales of the universe, the definition of the frontier". The artists are Claire Decet, Samuel François, Corentin Grossmann, Sandra Przyczynski, Markus Zimmermann, and also... me! I'm gonna show a new piece. The show will take place at Galerie Jeanroch Dard, in Paris. The opening is scheduled for the 27th of june. So stay tuned for more information! I love this landscape, between ruin and construction. I've just updated the website with some pictures of the Dripping Dream serie. I'm often amazed to realize how classicism can be modern. Merkur und Psyche by Reinhold Begas. Yesterday night, I did a sculpture with the complicity of my friends Jean-Baptiste Bernadet and Samuel François. Clé de Bramore is our first (and maybe last?) collaboration. A detail here. Paris / Berlin here. I'm currently working on a series of collage called "Météorite". Hundreds of triangles are combined to form an abstract figure who reveals a spectral presence. Light reflections due to holographic papers transform perpetually the composition. It's quite hard to take a good picture, but anyway, you can see the work in progress here.
